46 Hilltop, Oakwood was a major residential renovation and extension project involving extensive structural alterations and a full internal transformation of the property.
The works included the construction of a full two-storey side extension, a full-height two-storey front porch extension, a single-storey full-width rear extension, and a loft conversion. Internally, the property underwent a complete renovation, including the installation of underfloor heating throughout the entire ground floor area.
This was a significant structural undertaking, requiring the complete removal of the rear elevation of the house and approximately three-quarters of the side wall structure. The property was fully propped and supported to facilitate the extensive alterations safely.
We delivered the full project management package alongside coordinating and managing all associated trades throughout the build. The project also included a full re-pipe of the plumbing system, a complete electrical re-wire, full replastering throughout, and the installation of an entirely new drainage system.
Bathrooms were installed across all three floors, and all plastering works were completed as part of our package. Externally, we undertook landscaping works including the construction of retaining walls around the garden, a new rear patio area, side pathways, and the installation of fencing and gates.
The client completed the final decorative finishes themselves, including decoration, floor finishes, fitted furniture, and the supply and installation of the kitchen and utility areas.
The project demonstrates our capability to successfully deliver complex structural renovations and large-scale residential extensions, managing all aspects of construction from structural works and services through to final external landscaping.
