Ambergate was a commercial-to-residential conversion project where we undertook and managed all aspects of the works to deliver the final result. Our role covered the full project delivery, including organising and liaising with all trades throughout the build.
During the course of the project, it became necessary to rebuild the rear section of the building due to its dilapidated condition and structural instability. The front shop area underwent an extensive internal refurbishment, including an entire new floor, insulation to floors walls and ceilings, and a complete new roof installation, while carefully reusing the existing tiles where possible to retain the character of the building.
The driveway areas to both the front and rear of the property were largely reconstructed which just finished off the development. The rear section also required partial rebuilding works as part of the overall structural improvements.
Externally, we assisted in the construction of a raised decking area overlooking the river, designed to accommodate a hot tub and create an outdoor seating space that complemented the setting of the property.
The project demonstrates our ability to successfully deliver complex conversion and refurbishment projects, combining structural works, project management, and high-quality finishing across both internal and external elements.
